$24,500
Family-owned & rooted here since 1961
We are a third-generation roofing house working in slate, cedar shake, standing-seam metal, and hand-formed copper — the materials that make a roof last fifty years, not fifteen.

Our story
Summit & Slate began in 1961 with one truck, a ladder, and a promise that a roof should be measured in decades. Sixty years on, the third generation still climbs the same ladders. We turn down more work than we take, because a slate roof laid wrong is a slate roof torn off — and we would rather do it once.
